Volk Gallery is proud to present the work of Mairi Isla. Each Volk artist is given a size limit and budget and left to their own devices. With this brief, Isla has produced 50 riso-printed concertina zines in fluorescent pink and green. Inspired by the poetry of Christina Rossetti, we see disembodied figures cutting their hair with grand scissors, whilst a selection of fruit sits opposite. 4 of the 50 zines produced will include one of Isla's ceramics; a lucky dip of sorts.
