Volk Gallery is proud to present the work of Lauren Morsley. Each Volk artist is given a size limit and budget and left to their own devices. With this brief, Morsley has produced interactive beastie kits. These dancing bug decorations are the perfect addition to your festive season with each pack including everything you’ll need to make your wee beastie shine; trendy trainers, crazy crowns, adorable antennae, wobbly wings and more!
Artist's Statement
Lauren Morsley is an Illustrator and Printmaker from Scotland. She specialises in bold and colourful designs which create other worlds to explore. Her work is often inspired by intriguing stories, places, and people and has a heavy influence from the nature she was surrounded by growing up in Scotland. Alongside her commission work for various clients, she makes and sells her own prints and products, full of wiggly armed and long legged characters.
Lauren has chosen to donate her artist fee to Ahla Fawda, Lebanon. The charity supports and empowers individuals in vulnerable situations through collaborative programs and active civic engagement. You can find out more about Ahla Fawda and their work on ahlafawda.org + @ahlafawda
